Bring the kids outside to enjoy some fresh air and let their creativity flow.
The Levee is hosting Free Art by the River on Wednesdays 17 and 24 April, from 10.00am to 1.00pm during the school holidays.
Using the iconic Hunter River as inspiration, local artist Katrina Holden will provide tips and tricks on how to capture landscapes using watercolour and collage techniques.
Perfect for all ages with a focus on primary and school aged children.
The workshops take place on the riverside walk near the Bourke Street Link (the walkway with the mural of the red trees). This is at the eastern end of The Levee Shared Zone with nearby stores Colour Mix’n’Match and CJ’s on The Levee.
Each session runs for 30mins. 10 particpants per session.
Bookings essential.
Parental supervision is required.
