Do you have a favorite piece of clothing, a tablecloth or scarf that has a lot of memories. Then join this years Artist In Residence, Sarah Chisholm. Learn how to create a simple weave using upcycled fabric as your yarn.
During this workshop, participants will explore a story in their family or local community through weaving.
Materials provided: Upcycled frames and weaving tools.
Materials to bring: A piece of fabric or clothing that tells a story; that you’re happy to cut up and a small selection of upcycled wool or threads.
Optional: An old photo or slide that is part of this story.
