HOW TO BE FEATURED ON THE LEVEE'S SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM

Have you created content you think would be great for The Levee’s social channels that if shared would assist in the promotion of Central Maitland as a lifestyle precinct to visit?

We love sharing user generated content to ensure our page remains authentic and need your help to do this.

We are always on the lookout for content that showcases The Levee precinct.

It’s easy to be featured and all you need to do is follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. It’s a good idea to follow our channels so you can see the style of content we feature and get used to our style. You can find us on Facebook and Instgram.
  2. Create quality social media content and share it on your own channels. We are looking for images or videos that inspire, surprise, inform and captivate our followers on what is happening at The Levee. Images, videos and reels that would motivate people to come to meet, shop, eat and access services. Some good questions to ask yourself about the content you have are: Does it have wow factor? Does it show the best of The Levee? Is it eye catching imagery with vibrant colours? Does it make someone laugh, smile or want to share it with a friend? Is the quality good and of a high resolution? Is this a special offer/event your business is providing that The Levee can share to promote?
  3. Include our official hashtags when posting on your channels and please make sure you have your profile set to public — We monitor these hashtags daily and source featured materials from the content pool to share on our channels. Please use #TheLevee and/or #MeetMeAtTheLevee and tag our account @theleveecentralmaitland

The purpose of this platform is to attract tourism to the destination of Maitland, NSW.

Social media pages are managed from Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. Staff will respond to your questions and, where appropriate, comments during these times.

These channels are owned and managed by Maitland City Council. ABN: 11 596 310 805.
